Brisingr by Christopher Paolini

Submitted by: Derek

Rating: 4 stars

I really like this series. At first I was upset Brisingr wasn't the end of the trilogy because I wanted to see what happened, but now I am glad there will a fourth book because there is still a lot unresolved and I don't want them to wrap it up too quickly. Although there were some slow parts, I think Brisingr was more exciting than Eldest. I don't want to give anything away, but all of your favorite people are still in the book, there are some interesting twists, and Eragon gets something he has been wating for a long time. Brisingr doesn't disappoint!

The Charlie Bone Series by Jenny Nimmo

Submitted by: Chelsea

Rating: 4 stars

I really enjoyed the Charlie Bone series. All the books were fun and exciting. It is good for all ages, packed with plenty of adventures for older kids, and not too scary for younger kids. It is about a boy named Charlie Bone who goes to live at a school for children with talents in music, ar, or drama. There are also a handful of kids endowed with "magic" abilities. Some of these special kids are nice, and some are bad. The books cover his adventures with and against these kids as he makes new friends and searches for his father who disappeared when Charlie was little.

Stories to Stay Awake By by Alfred Hitchcock

Submitted by: Aaron

Rating: 5 stars

This book is a bit scary but it makes you think. It is a bunch of stories all in one book. I think if you like scary stories you need to get this book. The end of each story is abrupt, but that is what makes you think.

Bad Kitty Gets a Bath by Nick Bruel

Submitted by Samantha

Rating: 5 stars

This is a funny book about giving or trying to give your cat a bath.  What you need to get ready for the bath and getting yourself ready for kitty's bath.  How to find her. (Which is very funny)  A fantasy about getting kitty into the water and trying to get her/him into the water in different ways of talking to Kitty.  How to give your cat a bath without death and how your kitty might be mad after the bath.  Giving your dog a very simpler bath and...a very funny glossary.
