Call the library at 315-454-4524 to reserve a kit.

Storytime Kits

Storytime Kits contain coloring sheets with songs and rhymes, a monthly craft, and fun stickers!  The kits follow our weekly Virtual Early Learners Storytime themes.  Join our virtual storytime on Wednesday mornings at 11:00 a.m. by signing up for the Zoom sessions at https://onlibsalina.evanced.info/signup or use the songs, rhymes, and book lists on the coloring sheets to create your own!  The kits best for ages 3-6.

Kids & Teens Friday Crafternoon Kit

This kit contains most of the materials for a simple craft — often, all that’s needed is scissors and/or glue, depending on the project.  Follow the instructions, or join Miss Monica in a virtual Friday Crafternoon program as she demonstrates how to put the craft together!  These crafts are best for kids & teens ages 6+.  Friday Crafternoons are held on the second Friday of the month at 4 p.m. Sign up for the Zoom session at https://onlibsalina.evanced.info/signup.

Adult Craft Kit: A new craft is offered on the third Monday of every month for adults 18+.  Many types of crafting techniques are used, but each comes with step-by-step instructions and photos.

Craft Kit for Adults with Special Needs: This kit can be completed with a friend or family member. It’s released on the fourth Monday of each month and is available for a month or while supplies last.

Crochet Kit: The crochet kits are for intermediate crocheters. Each kit contains a pattern and the yarn needed to complete the project; you’ll need to have the hook. Crochet kits are released on the first Monday of each month.  Need help with your project? Email Janet at ASRP@salinalibrary.org with any questions.
